Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book and enjoy the Rome Vespa Tour. Please read them before booking — by completing a booking, you agree to them.

1. The service

Rome Vespa Tour is a guided passenger experience: you ride as a passenger with an experienced local driver through the streets and landmarks of Rome. You do not drive the Vespa yourself. The standard experience lasts approximately three hours. The service is operated by Ditta Individuale Artino Angelo.

2. Booking and payment

Bookings are made through our website and paid securely online via our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown per guest in euros (EUR). Your booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully completed and you have received a confirmation.

3. Availability subject to confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability and final confirmation by our team. In the rare event that a requested time cannot be honored, we will contact you to arrange an alternative time or a refund.

4. Pick-up and meeting point

Pick-up is offered only at a specific hotel or street address in Rome that you provide and that we can confirm. We cannot collect guests from generic, unmarked or restricted-access locations.

If a pick-up address cannot be confirmed, guests are asked to meet the driver at our alternative meeting point:

  • Piazza di San Marco, next to Piazza Venezia, Rome.

Please arrive a few minutes early so your experience can begin on time.

5. Passenger requirements and safety

For everyone's safety, the following conditions apply:

  • For safety reasons, the tour is not suitable for pregnant women.
  • There is a passenger weight limit of 100 kg (220 lb) per person.
  • Children may be accepted only if they can travel safely and at the operator's discretion, based on an on-site safety assessment. Please tell us in advance if you plan to bring a child so we can advise.
  • A helmet is provided for every passenger and must be worn for the entire ride.
  • Guests must follow the driver's safety instructions at all times. Guests who are visibly intoxicated or behave unsafely may be refused for safety reasons.

6. Weather and rain policy

The tour is not automatically cancelled for light rain, and raincoats are provided so you can keep enjoying Rome. If weather conditions become genuinely unsafe, the team may reschedule your tour or arrange a suitable alternative. We always prioritize your safety when making these decisions.

7. Guest delays

Please be ready at your scheduled time. If you are running late, contact us as soon as possible. Tours run on a fixed schedule, so significant delays may shorten your experience or, if we cannot reach you, may be treated as a no-show.

8. Cancellations, changes and refunds

You may cancel or change your booking up to 7 days before the tour date. Cancellations or changes requested within 7 days of the tour date can no longer be accepted and are not eligible for a refund, as the drivers are already scheduled. Where a tour cannot be operated for reasons within our responsibility (for example unsafe conditions on our side), we will offer a reschedule or a refund regardless of timing.

9. Liability and safety

We operate the experience with care and qualified drivers. To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability is limited to the value of the booking. We are not responsible for personal belongings, or for losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Guests participate in the experience voluntarily and agree to follow all safety instructions.

10. Changes to the tour or itinerary

The route and itinerary may be adjusted for reasons such as traffic, road closures, weather, safety, or other operational circumstances. The core experience will be maintained wherever possible.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Rome, Italy, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
